Sir
We sometime ago received the favor
of your letter of the 22d of April appointing us
your Guardians to take the charge & management
of whatever Property you may be entitled to
in Jamaica under you Mothers Will, or otherwise.
The respect we owe to your Father's memory
as well as the regard we bear for yourself, would
most assuredly have induced us to have paid
a proper attention to all your concerns here,
and you may now rely upon a faithfull discharge
of the Trust you have placed in us.
We are very happy to find you ae so well
fixed at home. You are much indebted to Mr
Perrin, to whom we can have no doubt you will
at all times pay very proper respect. He is now the
only Executor of your Mother & sole Guardian by
Will for yourself. To him we have lately
sent a state of your affairs both here and at Home
and at the close of the year we shall transmit
to him an Account of our transactions with the
Estate of your Mother. We shall at all
times be happy to hear from you, and we have
only further to reuqest that upon all occasions
where any thing may concern your future
Wellbeing, you will advise with Mr Perrin.
We remain with very sincer wishes
for your prosperity
Dear Sir your Obed[ien]t h[um]ble servt[ant]s
Jaques & Fisher
