Reports on a tour of the plantations; has purchased six 'negro' men [Black peoples] and two women for Blue Mountain, five men for Grange Hill, four men, two women, and two girls for Forest; has the opportunity to buy 56 'negroes' [Black peoples]; suggests Perrin might buy carpenter 'negroes' [Black peoples] which Laing himself will shortly be selling; gives details of shipments of sugar.
