Description | The death of Theophilact Blechynden effectively ends the dispute of the Poyntzs against the estates of Philp and Perrin; notes Perrin's intention to sell the Forest Plantation, and approves of it as Forest lies detached from the other estates; Blue Mountain and Grange Hill are making good sugars, has heard that English prices will be high; Elizabeth Fickle wants to exchange three 'negroes' [Black peoples] for a 'negro' women [Black people] called Belinda and her two children; Perrin's father had promised Peter, his favourite waiting boy, his freedom - could this now be accomplished? |
