Administrative History
William Perrin acted as an attorney to James Fraunces of London who owned enslaved people and land in the parish of Vere. Perrin rented these from Fraunces and on his death, Malcom Laing urged Frances Perrin to come to an arrangement with Fraunces lest he should take the enslaved people and land from the Vere plantation, to its "utter ruin" (D239/M/E/16578)
