Administrative History
Matilda Sophia Lovell was the youngest daughter of Selina Lovell (nee Crewe) and William Stanhope Lovell. She was the author of the book The Edible Mollusks of Great Britain and Ireland, with Recipes for Cooking Them (published 1867, revised 1884).
