Description
Book of plans, 1808, Giving field names and acreages and annotated with date of sale (late 19th cent) including the Park Hill estate (near Egginton), Blakelow Farm and land in Hilton, land in Hargate Manor, lands in Rolleston and Tutbury, Staffordshire, the Coneygree estate, and estates in Ty-Mawr near Usk, Monmouthshire, and Llanvihangel [Radnorshire].
At the back of the volume are loose plans and valuations 1820-1876 and also:
Printed epitaph of Thomas Barritt, saddler and antiquarian of Manchester (d1820) by Joseph Aston [1820]
Book plate of Thomas Barritt, portraying Barritt with part of his collection of medieval armour, holding a scroll with appended seal. Above is the motto 'Profert Antiqua in Apricum [He brings ancient things to light] and a coat of arms, 1794
