Description
Sir Francis Burdett of Foremark Hall, bart, and James William Farrar, esq, one of the Masters in Ordinary of the High Court of Chancery (trustee of a power of exchange) released to Crewe; (i) messuages, cottages, land, etc containing 734 acres 3 roods 22 perches in the township of Southwood in the parish of Repton, known as Sir Francis Burdett's Southwood Estate; (ii) messuages, cottages, land, etc containing 53 acres 2 roods 32 perches within the Priory of Repton in the parish of Repton adjoining the bottom or lower part of the parish of Ticknall; (iii) a messuage, land, etc containing 62 acres 2 roods 1 perch in the Priory of Repton in the parish of Repton adjoining the upper or top part of the parish of Ticknall; (iv) Hays Farm and land containing 63 acres 3 roods 28 perches within the Priory of Repton in the parish of Repton adjoining the parish of Bretby.
Sir George Crewe released to Farrer as trustee for Burdett; (i) messuages, farmhouses, land, etc containing 449 acres 10 perches in the township of Milton in the parish of Repton; (ii) 2 parcels of land known as Westwood and Ingerholme Wood in the parish of Stanton-by- Bridge; (iii) messuages, cottages, land, etc containing 355 acres 2 roods 15 perches in the township of Milton in the parish of Repton.
The deed is on long, rolled parchment sheets, comprising 15 sheets of text and 2 sheets of plans.
