Administrative History
A Methodist chapel was built in Selston in 1867. It was originally known as Middle Chapel because it was equidistant from the Congregational and Primitive Methodist chapels in the village. When the original Methodist connexion dissolved, the chapel joined the United Methodist Free Church circuit, centred on Ripley. In recent years the chapel has been known as Dove Green Methodist Chapel. It still occupies its original premises.
