| Description | Aston on Trent Parish Council was established in 1894 by the Local Government Act. It helped provide local amenities and services such as street lighting, recreation grounds, footpaths and public seating. lt also liaised with other local authorities over proposals or issues that might concern the area. These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in July 1978
