Undated Extract from Hospital Notes (boxed in red and regarded as possibly detrimental to claimant) said: 'This patient is attending the Psychiatric Out-Patient Dept., of the Royal Hospital, Sheffield. He is suffering from a major attack of epilepsy assumed to be post-traumatic in origin having followed upon a head injury. The fits occur once or twice weekly and in addition he has some superimposed neurotic complaints. He under treatments with phenobarbitone and epanutin but it is very difficult to control his fits entirely. He is at present unfit for work'. |
