Description of accident: Whilst pulling out a pan, he slipped and felt a sharp pain in right groin
Further information: Traumatic hydrocele caused by accident but notes in June 1949 that Injury Benefit had ceased because Buxton's doctor had entered 'Anaemia' on his certificates from April 1949. Hospital case note copy regarding Buxton's admission in November 1950 giving a provisional diagnosis of Anxiety State. Note in paperwork to say information in red boxes may be 'detrimental to the claimant.' This relates to impotence (given as 8/52, meaning 8 weeks) noted in hospital case notes. It was noted he had 3 healthy children.
