Further information: A further assessment of 20 per cent to run from 17 September 1957 to 16 March 1958 was made. From neuro-psychiatrist's report of 12 February 1956 (marked as Not included in claimant's papers in red): 'Account of wife, Recently at home he has been forgetful, apt to sit and brood, taping his knees and muttering to himself. Recently lost his temper with her, then apologised' and 'Specialist regards deafness and neurosis as directly related to the accident'. As an unconnected condition, a large lipoma 'the size of a melon' on the shoulder was noted. The aural surgeon gave: 'Vertigo and tinnitus [...] may be a degenerative lesion involving whole labyrinth'
