Psychiatric report February 1953: 'there is some insidious cerebral degeneration beginning - wife stating that he has become rather changed and childish in the last 12 months.[...] he suffers from Post traumatic Neurosis (Hysterical in type) [...] attributable to the accident [...] Not wholly caused by accident in that previous personality poor'.
