Further information: Holmes had an accident on 3 Decemner 1948. He was off work for one week, resumed and had a re-occurrence on 3 February 1949. He had an operation for a hernia on 19 April 1949. On appeal the extent of disablement was assessed at 30 per cent final. Coal face worker prior to accident. |
