Further information: A letter to Mr Kitts dated 2 September 1952 from the Union, signed J Pidd states 'This number was dissatisfied with the way Mick took his case […] W. Moss wants to know if you would take this case up again as he is a proper cripple.' There is subsequent correspondence which states Mr Kitts is at the TUC conference and another which outlines the grounds for further appeal. Hospital notes are included as are handwritten and typed notes from the claimant.
