A doctor's report dated 10 November 1952 states that claimant is not suitable for coal face work due to his nystagmus and 'Has history of a previous attack, after which he worked at the coal face for a year and broke down again.' An Opthalmologist's report from 31 December 1951 states 'I see no reason why this patient should not work underground.' This opinion differs from an earlier examination dated 24 September 1949. |
