Further information: According to the Summary of facts on the Tribunal referral, the claimant injured his knee on 1 June 1959 and received injury benefit for 3 months. He returned to work on light duties at a lower rate of pay and claimed Special Hardship Allowance which was disallowed on the grounds that the claimant was fit for his previous occupation. The tribunal found in favour on 10 December 1959 and it is noted that the claimant retruned to trial his own job from 7 December 1959.
