He received injury benefit from 6 October 1954 to 23 February 1955. As a result of treatment for the injury he developed dermatitis. He claimed disablement benefit on 16 March 1955. A breakdown of benefit payments is included in the 'summary' of facts on the Appeal to Tribunal information dated 10 April 1956. Details of earnings are also included in the report accompanying the Appeal reference. The summary of the medical board dated 7 April 1955 states 'Irritating rash. Cannot cleanse himself in usual manner. Gunshot wounds right arm, right leg and neck 1914.' After initially being adjourned on 2 May 1956 for medical evidence, the appeal hearing on 9 July 1956 found in favour of Mr Kerry. |
