Further information: Accident in September 1951. Medical Appeal 26 June 1953 gave final assessment of 8 per cent disablement for life; fractured pelvis had led to 'bladder trouble' (from claimant's letter). Initial Local Appeal adjourned from 6 January 1955 for calculation of 'notional earnings' . Appeal evidence included revised figures of: 'Pre-accident £14 12s 11d average. Post accident earnings accepted £12 3s 7d'. The pre-accident earnings calculation included a 16 per cent bonus.
