Claim was for Industrial Death Benefit on behalf of John Guest, ex Westthorpe Colliery, who had died aged 55 on 27 March 1966. He had worked for 35 years in coal mining and was receiving 60 per cent disablement benefit for slight simple pneumoconiosis and arrested tuberculosis. A Certificate of Suspension from the Pneumoconiosis Medical Board to operate from 11 August 1959 is included in the file. Death was certified as due to natural casues (myocardial infarction and chronic bronchitis)
