Further information: Mr Jones suffered a headache (after a 'slip' at work) which then proved to be Sub-arachnoid haemorrhage on 20th March 1953. There were two witnesses to him collapsing after he fell. It is noted by the Ministry that 'the burden of proof in a claim of this nature rests entirely with the claimant.' The Tribunal found against Mr Jones on 20th August 1953. There is paperwork showing it was disputed whether this was an industrial accident.
