On 23 November 1952 he was awarded 3 per cent for life by a Medical Board, which also considered Brown, in the words of the Insurance Officer, to be 'capable of following his normal occupation'. There is no official record of the tribunal's final decision but the word 'against' is pencilled on the form giving the date and time of the tribunal. |
