Further information: Paperwork relates to claims for Injury Benefit, heard by a Local Appeal Tribunal on 26 January 1950 (for which there is no final decision), and later Special Hardship Allowance, which was rejected by the Insurance Officer and appears not to have been the subject of an appeal. According to a medical examiner's report submitted to the Insurance Officer ahead of Keeton's hearing on 26 January, 'He should not do work which involves prolonged standing or walking.
