The series includes material relating to exchange programmes for British and West German mineworkers; visits to the Derbyshire Area by trade unionists and mineworkers from, among others, Italy, the Soviet Union and Vietnam; and holidays for families of Derbyshire mineworkers in East Germany, Italy, the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia.
