Title
Lease and release by Peter Gell of Cromford, butcher, to Samuel Taylor of Leicester, grocer in consideration of the sum of £100, of all that one undivided third part of him the said Peter Gell (the whole to be divided into three equal parts) of and in all those four closes or inclosed grounds situated within the parish of Matlock known as the Stonyway Head Closes and now or late in the several possessions or holdings of Thomas Bowden and Thomas Pearson, and also the said Peter Gell’s undivided third part, the whole to be divided into three equal parts, of and in all those two allotments, plots, pieces or parcels of land lying in the formerly open and now inclosed fields of Matlock, now or late also in the tenure or occupation of the said Thomas Boden and Thomas Pearson. Dated 25/26 April.
