| Description | In consideration of the sum of £300, Of all that messuage, farm or tenement situated in pa. Matlock and commonly known as Woodseates Farm, formerly in the occupation of William Wood and Edward Wall or of James Wood and Anthony Haslam, but now or late in the holding or occupation of Francis Greenhough, together with all appurtenances, and all those closes or grounds with the appurtenances situated in the parish of Matlock, commonly called the Horsecroft, the Peasefield, the Thisley Close, the Leadyate, otherwise Longfield, the three little Rye Crofts, the Little Well Patch, the Walbank Wood, the Croft, the Bank above the House and the Pallas Croft, all of which said closes are commonly reputed to be part of the farm called the Woodseates and are now in the possession of the said Francis Greenhough, and all that messuage or dwelling house, garden and old barn (or the land where such a barn stood) together with a croft held now or late in the holding of Henry Pearson and all those pieces or parcels or land called the Lea Ridding (now or formerly divided into two parts) and the Over Ox Close, now or late in the holding or occupation of Thomas Bowden, which said last mentioned premises are situated in Matlock and Bonsall |
