Title
Copy verdict of the Grand Jury or Twenty Four for the Liberty of Stoney Middleton and Eyam giving one full fourth part of ore to the sough owners within the Liberty. Affixed is a copy Arrest, dated 12 September 1734 of one fourth part of the lead ore at Ladywash Mine in Eyam for composition to Stoke Sough. The plaintiffs are named as the partners, owner and proprietors of Stoke Sough, viz., William Simson, esq., John Simson clerk, Heyrick Atharope esq., Francis Sitwell, esq., Charles Turner esq., and Robert Sherwood, esq. The defendants are named as Mr Thomas Gell, Mr Robert Clay and Mr Robert Middleton and other parties at Ladywash Mine. A fourth part of the ore is regarded as the composition or duty due to the plaintiffs for unwatering Ladywash Mine. Dated 12 September
