Marriage settlement by feoffment from Thomas Spencer of Hooton Levitt, Yorkshire in consideration of a marriage between Ralph Spencer his son and Mary Wilson daughter of John Wilson of South Normanton yeoman to John Wilson and Anthony Sailes of Loughton Yorkshire yeoman, of a manor house in Hooton Levitt with lands and tithes (except so much of the house and buildings, orchards, gardens etc and closes called the Well Yard, Pease Close, the Newe Close adjoining the Towne Meadowe, the Still Foote or Flatte Close and the Little Hall Dale Close with tithes of corn or grain settled on Thomas Spencer and his wife Margaret, in satisfaction of her dower, for their lives in a deed of 27 Jan 1651 [1652] with remainder to Ralph and Mary in tail and main property to Ralph and Mary in tail
