| Administrative History | This small collection of records of the Eyre and Wilson families covers the period 1785-1927 and consists mainly of title deeds to properties in Hope and Castleton, papers concerning their interest in lead mining, mainly for the mid nineteenth century, and probate copies of wills of family members. The families did not own great tracts of land, hence the paucity of material catalogued under the heading ‘estate’. |
