Assignment of mortgage at D1836/M/T/17 above by Isaac Hall esq., of Castleton and William Brett esq. of Stone (Staffs.), at direction of Rebecca Royse widow, of Castleton, relict of Joseph Rose, miner, deceased, of Castleton, and Micah Royse, warehouseman, of Manchester, (Lancs) son and heir of Joseph, to Jeremy Royse, lead merchant, of Castleton, in consideration of all principal and interest, and £150 10s paid to Isaac Hall, and in consideration of £49 10s lent by Micah Royse to Jeremy Royse for a further mortgage on the High Brinks and Near Kiln Lands Close, and in consideration of £300 for a mortgage on a messuage in Castleton with the garden adjoining, at rate of 5% interest on £300 total.
