Description
In consideration of £260 (£119 10s paid to Philip, 5s each to John and Hannah, and £140 to Thomas Bagnall of Wootton (co Stafford) gent for discharging mortgage of 27 Jan 1690 by John Maddocke sen to Derby Cooper son of David, now vested in Bagnall) of a messuage in Mapleton (tenant Philip Maddocke) and all outbuildings etc; with the croft adjoining (6 acres), a parcel of land formerly called the Little Intake, a flat of arable in Rye Field (3 acres) two lands in the same field, two short lands lying together in the same field, the last mentioned four lands containing about one acre.
