Lease and release by Thomas Longman of Pater Noster Row, London, bookseller (devisee named in the will of Mary Longman, widow of Thomas Longman late of London, stationer, and daughter of John Osborne late of Colney Hatch, co Middlesex) and Elizabeth his wife to John Goodwin of Ashbourne gentleman and George Gould of Ashbourne mercer, trustee of a close in Mapleton called the pingle with the barn thereon, a flat of land above the barn in Rye Field, and two more lands in the same field shooting over the High Road into a small parcel of land called the Milking Spott, all containing 5½ acres
