Title
Deed of exchange between Robert Spear of Manchester merchant and John Hopkinson of Broom House, Wessington farmer and John Hopkinson jun, his son, whereby Spear conveys to the Hopkinsons the Coal Pit Close (3 acres) in Wessington in exchange for another close (3 acres) adjoining the Southeries. Recital of bankruptcy of Charles Low and George Low, one-time owners of the Coal Pit Close which they purchased from Rev John Bourne, and of purchase of same by Spear under the commission of bankruptcy. Dated 13 Feb 1807
