Mortgage by Lucy, Countess Dowager of Huntingdon, and Henry Hastings, Baron Loughborough, to Thomas Rawlins of St Botolph within Bishopgate London, baker (reciting lease by Ferdinando, 6th Earl of Huntingdon and others to Sir John Coke of the manor and castle of Melbourne for 30 years ( 1647/8 ) and reciting assignment of lease of Melbourne Mills by Dame Elizabeth Coke and others to Lady Alice Clifton ( 1653 )and reciting assignment of lease by Sir Gervase Clifton and Alice his wife to Lucy, Countess of Huntingdon ( 1660 ) in consideration of £500. Of 4 water mills sluices, dams, etc and the great pond or pool and the other pond or pool. 13 Aug
