Bargain and sale by Henry, 5th Earl of Huntingdon, Sir John Stanhope of Elvaston and William Gouldingham of Grays Inn (Middlesex) esq.,to John saxelby of Melbourne,labourer, in consideration of £60 10spaid to the Earl, of a cottage and back side of Melbourne,being copyhold land, with common of pasture for all cattle in Melbourne and Kings Newton and liberty, to carry away gravel, clay etc . from the wastes and stones, to be held of the King as of his manor at East Greenwich (Kent) in free socage, subject to a rent of 2s a year to the Earl and others. 11 Apr1633
