Title | Letter from Robert Dickinson to 9th Earl of Huntingdon. Has returned £60 by Mr Sleath and sent £100 to Messrs Hoare - Mr Piddock is proceeding in the ejectment of Mrs Membry and thinks he will get possession of the school by Easter - the Countess last year ordered him to arrange for 100,000 bricks to be made at Donnington Park and the clay was dug ready by the Countess who then ordered them to be left alone until the next spring - the brickmaker now wishes to know whether to proceed and if not, he wishes to be paid for digging the clay - he will get a quantity of coppice wood valued and dispose of it. 28 Jan 1743 |
