Administrative HistoryTaddington was formerly a chapelry of Bakewell (see D2057), becoming a separate ecclesiastical parish in 1854. It consisted of the two townships of Taddington and Priestcliffe, and Blackwell.
Custodial HistoryAcquired by Derbyshire Record Office in 1976. Further deposits were received in 1992, 1994, 1995 and in March 2015 (for March 2015 deposit, see D1693/UL). List put online through FindersKeepers project , with the help of Elissa Rowe
