Administrative History | Winster Primitive Methodist Circuit. The Primitive Methodist Circuit for Winster is believed to have been formed in the years around 1811. It became Bakewell Primitive Methodist Circuit in 1913 and was amalgamated with the North Derbyshire Mission Circuit in 1944. Other records of the circuit are to be found under reference D1877. In 1915 the circuit consisted of societies at Bakewell, Youlgreave, Birchover, Elton, Middleton, Darley Hillside, Aldwark, Biggin, Rowsley and Alsop. By 1944 there was no society at Alsop. |
