Administrative History | Heanor is one of the ancient parishes in the county, consisting of the townships of Heanor, Shipley, Codnor and Loscoe. Marlpool, Millhay and Langley Mill were also within the parish. During the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, new parishes were created out of Heanor: Codnor, Loscoe, Cotmanhay and Shipley, Marlpool and Langley Mill. |
Custodial History | These records were deposited by the parish in several consignments in April 1976, August 1978, October 1979, June 1994, July 1999, April 2013 and June 2022. A donation from a member of the public was also received in May 2003. |
