The schools covered by this group in 1949 were Granby Boys, Granby Girls (a Junior mixed school from 1951), Chaucer Boys and Girls, Chaucer Infants, Holy Trinity Infants and Bennerley Infants (closed in Jul 1959.) New Junior Mixed and Infants schools were opened in Cotmanhay in Sep 1951. A new school, called Charlotte Infants, replaced Holy Trinity Infants in Jul 1970.
