Administrative HistoryHeath is one of the ancient parishes in the county. Its boundaries have not altered significantly. A new church was built in 1853, on a different site, to replace the old one, whose ruins remain. St Albans Mission Room, Holmewood was opened in 1902. Later known as St Albans Mission Church, it was demolished in 1961 and later occupied a former Methodist Church.
Custodial HistoryThese documents were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in a number of consignments beginning in February 1976.
