Administrative HistoryThe provenance of these items is unknown. Walter, 18th Earl and 1st Marquis of Ormonde (1770-1820) married in 1805 Anna Maria Catherine Clarke, (d1817) great-niece and heiress of Godfrey Bagnall Clarke of Somersall, Chilcote and Sutton cum Duckmanton. On the death of the Marquis, the Derbyshire estates were sold.
