| Description | Smalley Parish Council was set up under the terms of the Local Government Act of 1894 and convened for its first meeting in December of that year. The Council have acted in a variety of areas, such as the maintenance of roads and footpaths, the provision of allotments, street lighting, recreation grounds, cemetery and public facilities. These records, which date back to 1894, were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office at various dates between December 1974 and September 2005. |
