Parish of Codnor St James
Administrative History
The parish of Codnor and Loscoe was formed from parts of the parishes of Denby, Heanor and Pentrich (Ripley) in 1844. Parts transferred to the new parishes of Ironville in 1850 and Loscoe in 1927, when the parish was renamed Codnor.
Custodial History
These items were purchased by Derbyshire Record Office in March 1974.
