Whereby, in consideration of a marriage portion of £1000, Milnes conveys to Adam Slater, apothecary, and Gervase Gardiner of Chesterfield, gent. part of a capital messuage at Tapton with a moiety of the outhouses and closes known as Stone Pitt, Oldfield Close, 2a 3r in the Mesne Wheatlands, the Pingle, Long Wheat Hill, Pitty Close, 6a in Upper and Nether Intake 1a in Tree Close, Steelcroft, Upper Sidelin, Two Acre Sidelin, Middle Sidelin and a moiety of the House Paddock (total 38a), at Tapton and Brimington
