Administrative History
Tibshelf Parish Council was established under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1894. It helped to provide local public amenities and services such as street lighting, recreation grounds, footpaths and public seating, as well as liaise with other local authorities over proposals or issues that might concern the area.
Custodial History
These items were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office by the Parish Council in February 1973 and August 1976.
