Administrative History
Swanwick was originally a hamlet in the parish of Alfreton. The south east part was included in Riddings District in 1835 but this and the part still in Alfreton were taken to form a new parish in 1861.
Custodial History
These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in a number of consignments beginning in February 1973. Further accession 2012. D1209/2/13 was deposited in February 2014
