Stafford, and others to Joseph Woodhouse of Wollestock 1666; closes in Fenny Bentley sold by co-heiresses of William James of Ashborne including wife of John Walker of Compton, tanner, to Woodhouse 1702; by Woodhouse marriage settlement to Thomas Alkin 1710; lands in Fenny Bentley and Ashborne sold to Aden Ley 1725; Fenny Bentley lands mortgaged to Rudyard 1725, assigned to Bateman 1737; resettled in 1755, passed by intestacy to Alkin and Withnall co-heiresses; mortgaged to Wadkin and Bateman mortgage assisgned to Cockbain 1798; both mortgages assigned to Webster 1821; further mortgages 1823-1828; sold to William Hunt 1830
