Administrative History
Dalbury is one of the ancient parishes in the county. lt formed a joint township and parish with Lees, where there was a mission church. Dalbury has been a united benefice with Long Lane since at least 1932 and this explains the survival of some Long Lane material in this deposit. These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in a number of consignments beginning in January 1972.
