Between (1) Robert and Bridgett Handley of Worksop, Benjamin and Mary Downes of Worksop, Richard and Hannah Coke of Palterton, in Scarcliffe, cordwainer, and William and Mary Watkinson of Papplewick, Notinghamshire, innholder (the descendants of William Bacon's three aunts and heirs at law) to (2) Samuel Kinder of Kirkby in Ashbfield, Nottinghamshire, farmer, in consideration £52 10shillings, of a close of land called "Grimes Meadow" in parish of Heath, in tenure of John Watkinson, with all ways, watercourses, mines, quarries, appurtenances, rents, profits, reversion and remainder, and with agreement to levy a fine as assurance of the title. Signed and sealed by the lessors.
